If you love dinosaurs, then you’ll enjoy viewing the benign updated prehistoric creatures who now service their human subjects. Coloring book artist Theo Nicole Lorenz apparently has a fondness for these antediluvian animals, which she portrays in humorous cartoon fashion in their twenty roles. These amusing behemoths perform significant functions in the workforce, acting as dog groomers, accountants, lifeguards, astronauts, sales clerks, actors, and stay-at-home parents–there’s even one who’s an unemployed, munching couch potato. Through the forty-eight-page book, watch them interact with their human counterparts as you select the colors to reveal their character makeup. Fortunately, the drawings are printed on one-sided pages, the figures are large, and the designs are well spaced to allow easy coloring. Children will especially delight in painting the dinosaurs and reptiles, while adults may find some resemblance of these creatures to their managers, supervisors, coworkers, or even themselves. The act of crayoning itself provides relaxation, and if you are a dinosaur devotee and enjoy playing with pigments, then this is the book for you.
