Every Last Fear is a thrilling novel that covers the possible homicides of four members of the Pine family, Evan, Olivia, and their two youngest children, Maggie and Tommy. In an unfortunate series of events, Danny Pine, the eldest son, is convicted of killing his girlfriend, Charlotte, although there was no real evidence to convict him. Matt, the second oldest son, attends NYU. One day, Evan receives a message from someone claiming to be Charlotte. From there, things go awry. Maggie steps in to help convince her dad that anyone could pretend to be anyone on the Internet. The call is traced to Tulum, Mexico. The Pine family goes on a Mexican vacation and the four of them are found dead, leaving Danny and Matt behind. It is up to Matt to work with the FBI to find out what happened.

With an excellent storyline that is narrated in the past and the present from different characters’ points of view, Every Last Fear is as real a nightmare as there can be. As Matt delves deeper, he realizes that he can trust no one. This is a book with fantastic, well-developed characters and a solid plot.
