I Know Everything
After the suspicious death of his wife in a car crash, Randall Brock is confronted by a man who tells him, “I Know Everything.” This man tells him he will let him know who killed his wife, but first he must confess his own dark secrets. All the evidence points to Randall being the murderer, so what choice does he have? He is going to have to confront the past and it’s going to get ugly.
If you love psychological thrillers as well as crime stories with a strong female lead, you will thoroughly enjoy this book. There are twists and turns everywhere; the book is fast-paced and the main characters have depth to them. It focuses on one of my favorite topics, which I will not tell you about so as not to spoil it. Police investigator Susan Adler was the perfect character for this book. She is strong and smart, and yet still vulnerable and capable of mistakes. I thought she was surprisingly well-written, especially since the author is a man, but he did a great job. This was my first Matthew Farrell book, but I can tell you it won’t be my last. I highly recommend you check this out for yourself, just be aware there is some graphic descriptions of violence.
