I Know Numbers!
Anyone who has read and reread Tao Gomi’s Bus Stop will want to read all of his 350 books. His illustrations are simple, but the concepts on the pages seem to move from simple to more complex, which is how math skills are built. There are numbers on a clock, buses, houses, and sports teams. Many of the children would relate better to numbers on a cell phone rather than an older type landline. Readers familiar with Bus Stop may find that the illustrations are less defined. An early introduction to math skills is so very important, and this book would be perfect for a preschooler or kindergartner.
