In I See You, Zoe Walker happens to be looking at the advertisement section of the paper on her commute home from work. She is shocked to see her picture in an ad for a dating site. She begins to check the paper more frequently and finds out there is a picture of a different woman every day, and each of those women have a crime committed against them, including murder or rape. She contacts the police and begins to fear that everyone around her is following her, scared of what crime will befall her. She finds out that sometimes the evil lives much closer than you think.

The idea of this website that lets people find a way to meet those they see every day is an interesting idea. I don’t think it was very well executed in this book, though. None of the characters were likable; all were mostly angry or whiny. There was hardly any suspense, and the ending was not very fitting. I wouldn’t classify it as anything more than a book that involves some crimes.
