Little Secrets: A Novel

Little Secrets is the story of a wealthy couple, Marin and Derek, who became parents to a little boy named Sebastian after many fertilization treatments. One day, in the hustle and bustle of Christmas, Marin is out shopping with Sebastian and lets go of his hand to answer a text from Derek. In the next second, Sebastian is gone. Marin’s world falls apart as she tries to commit suicide. She also hires a private investigator to find Sebastian. Although the P.I. does not find Sebastian, she finds out that Derek is cheating on Marin. Marin finds consolation in the arms of her best friend Sal. But what unfolds next is something so unbelievable, Marin would have never guessed it.

This book got better and better as it progressed. The story itself was interesting in the beginning; however, the way the author is able to loosely bind all of the characters together and then pull one little string to make them all come together in a web so tight it’s breathtaking is an art. This book is absolutely fantastic, and it is perfect for fans of twisted thrillers.
