Two popular young-adult comic-book franchises team up in this mini-series. A professor at Gotham Academy goes missing under mysterious circumstances, and for the Lumberjanes their camp director goes missing at the same time. While both groups are searching for their fellow missing people, they meet up with each other in the woods and decide to work together as a team to find both of the missing people. They end up finding them after being captured and forced to relive the late 1980s, specifically to celebrate the 16th birthday party of one young lady who has been under a magical spell for 30 years when her friends ditch her birthday. It is now up to the combined knowledge of both the Gotham Academy students and the Lumberjanes to find a way out or be stuck in 1986 forever.

Like most team-up books, this feels a bit forced at the beginning since the Lumberjanes are the more popular comic of the two; it feels a way for Gotham Academy to hitch a ride. And like the Lumberjanes books, this one is about empowerment, overcoming obstacles, and finding out about yourself at the end. Not great but decent.
