Naturally, Delicious Dinners
As a continuation of the television show Naturally, Danny Seo, Naturally, Delicious Dinners includes recipes using minimal ingredients to make life slightly less hectic while also being healthy. Inside the book are seven categories of recipes, including bread, veggies, salad, soup, pasta, one-pot wonders, and dessert.
I tried three recipes, the first from the Bread & More Bread section. The Zucchini-and-Walnut Spelt Bread tasted much like other zucchini bread I’ve previously made––good. There are several ingredients, but that wasn’t a surprise, and the instructions are straightforward. Next, I made Beach Soup from the Soup section. I ended up having to modify this recipe because while it was super healthy with just veggies, it was pretty plain and missing protein, so I added chicken and noodles, which made a WONDERFUL chicken and noodle soup. Beach soup includes lots of veggies, so be prepared if making it from scratch. I then made Black Bean and Sweet Potato Chili with Sliced Avocado. I LOVED this soup, but you have to like sweet potatoes to be a fan.
I felt healthy and yummy flavors in my mouth while eating each of these recipes! Also, I loved having a tangible book to cook from, instead of it being digital.
