Of Blood and Bone: Chronicles of The One, Book 2
Nora Roberts has done it again—not only has she succeeded in writing a complex and entertaining book, but she’s somehow able to take her writing to a whole new level. I was in complete awe wondering what would happen next.
Of Blood and Bone is a post-apocalyptic book that takes the reader on a journey much different from the first book, Year One. Of Blood and Bone does a great job of engaging readers from start to finish. Fallon is the main character who will lead the fight to the Dark. She’s a great lead character. Roberts was able to lay the groundwork for the side characters and made readers care for them just as much as the main characters. Readers who’ve enjoyed novels such as The Stand, will no doubt fall in love with this story. The only downfall is having to wait for the next book for a year.
The writing is impressive. It whisked me away to a terrifying world that I could imagine happening in real life today.
Magic galore, a strong heroine, and a story that keeps on giving, a reader couldn’t ask for anything more.
