Star Wars Visions: Ronin: A Visions Novel (Inspired by The Duel)
Troubled by his past, one old warrior travels the outer realms during his self-imposed exile. He carries a lightsaber, but he was not a Jedi. He does not serve their Lords. His once called himself Sith, but now swears to put an end to their crudity. The only companion he trusts is his faithful droid, B5-56. He is Ronin. Haunted by the ghost of a witch, this warrior teams up with some unlikely allies. Together, they hunt for the evil that has plagued the galaxy and lay to rest the memories of the ghosts of the past.
Star Wars Visions: Ronin is Emma Mieko Candon’s debut novel. Inspired by the folklore of their Japanese roots, Candon delivers a story like no other. With hints to some original characters and plenty of lightsaber battles, this is a book any Star Wars fan would enjoy. But with Candon’s tale the lines between good and evil are a bit blurred, and B5-56 might be the droid with the most attitude. Influenced by the rich mythology of Japan, this book can reach a broader audience. One does not have to be a fan of the original stories to enjoy this visionary novel.
