Take a Breath
Take a Breath is a humorous approach to a necessary calming technique. The author introduces the main character, Bob as a kind but frustrated bird who has yet to master the skill of flying. He has given up on the idea that he could be like the other birds and fly through the sky; instead he solemnly embraces life on the ground and longingly wishes to fly like his peers. Bob meets Crow, who also struggled to achieve a goal that seemed so simple to others. Crow shared that his secret to success was simple- taking a breath. Bob was skeptical that something so easy could solve his huge problem, but he begrudgingly followed through.
Bob discovered that taking a deep breath made him relax his body, clear his mind, and help him believe in himself. He continued to try flying; this time with more optimism, persistence, and dedication. This story playfully and accurately explains how to successfully clear your body of negative energy to let in positivity.
