The Cow Said BOO!
Cow has a problem. Whenever she tries to “Moo,” instead it comes out “Boo.” Cow has a cold, and it not only makes her say “Boo” instead of “Moo,” but it makes her clumsy. She runs into the laundry hanging on the line, and she gets a sheet caught over her. The other farm animals don’t recognize Cow, especially since she says “Boo” instead of “Moo.” All the farm animals are afraid of Cow since she looks like a ghost, and they stay away from her, but that night as all the animals are sleeping, Cow sees something very dangerous. Can she save all her friends? Can she get back to being herself?
Author Lana Button has written an adorable little story that will have little listeners giggling as poor Cow tries to “Moo,” and can’t seem to do anything the way she wants. Absolutely charming illustrations by Alice Carter are filled with fun details that will keep little eyes searching the illustrations for more silliness. This book will have youngsters asking for it to be read over and over, but it’s so much fun, adults won’t mind at all.
