The Sleepwalker
Annalee Ahlberg is The Sleepwalker in the Ahlberg family. Once her older daughter pulled her off a bridge during one of her episodes. She always sleepwalks when her husband is out of town, and this is the first time he’s left in four years, so naturally Annalee and her two daughters are on edge. Then the worst happens; Annalee disappears during the night. Lianna, her oldest, does everything she can to find out what happened to her mother. She discovers sometimes the truth is far worse than your imagination.
I did not enjoy this book. I thought it was going to delve more into the world of parasomnia, but it mainly focused on one part of sleepwalking, sleep sex. None of the characters were intriguing or likable. The end was nothing more than depressing, and there is quite a bit of sex to wade through. That might be something that draws people to this book, but it felt like a huge distraction to what could have been a good story.
