Moira Fowley-Doyle delivers a breathtaking story with tragic and complicated characters in a coming-of-age journey that finds the true magic in life. Friendship plays a key role as three groups of friends are slowly brought together in ways that seem like fate. The teenagers are navigating growing up, friendship, love, and turn to each other to find a way to deal with painful secrets. The spellbook is at the heart, ominous and a little terrifying but an intriguing way to view loss and life. The twist is honestly surprising and satisfying, completely stunning. A must-read!
