The Stranger in the Mirror: A Novel
Addison is about to get married and should be excited, but she doesn’t recognize The Stranger in the Mirror. She was found by the side of the road two years earlier by a kind trucker, without any memory of who she was. Meanwhile, Julian is wondering how his wife Cassandra disappeared two years ago without a trace. He knows she never would have left him and their daughter voluntarily. A chance encounter will cause their two worlds to collide and the result will be something no one will expect.
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. The plot was superbly twisted and thrilling, with just the right amount of craziness. I have no idea if any of it is even possible, but it kept you guessing until the end. Even knowing that something is wrong as you turn every page, you have no idea how insane it will get. You can’t help but feel for Addison, as you get to know her more and see how hard her life has been and that it’s not going to get much easier anytime soon. Overall, it is the perfect summer read to breeze right through on a hot day.
