Trailer Park Trickster (The Adam Binder Novels, Book 2)
Family can be difficult, which is doubly true for Adam Binder. After returning to Guthrie, Oklahoma for his Aunt Sue’s funeral, the family drama ramps up. It seems that the Binder family is being hunted by a dark druid. Meanwhile, beyond the Veil, the King, Queen, and Knight of Swords are having their own family drama. Vic, the Reaper, is to be a witness at a special council meeting, where the sea elves are calling for the destruction of all of humanity.
Trailer Park Trickster is David S. Slayton’s second novel featuring Adam Binder. It picks up where the first one left off. Slayton reveals more of the Binder family secrets and introduces the audience to Jodi, Adam’s drug-addicted cousin, who believes she is due her “family birthright.” Slayton also reveals more of the world beyond the Veil, the world controlled by the different families of elves. Just as in the first novel, Adam must rely on his limited magical powers to get out of difficult situations, but this time Adam doesn’t have the elves backing him up. The elves have their own crisis to deal with. If you enjoyed Slayton’s first novel, then join Adam as he hunts for the Trailer Park Trickster.
