The Vanishing Hour

The Vanishing Hour is one of the best books I have read this year. This book was so suspenseful, I couldn’t put it down. Author Seraphina Nova Glass is a master at character and plot development. The book is told from the points of view of Kira, mother to Brooke, a missing teen, Grace, a woman who runs an inn who survived being assaulted and kidnapped when she was younger, and Aden, a man whose father, Martin, is missing. As all three characters work together to find out what happened to Brooke and Martin, Grace realizes that she may be the only one who can help them.

As the story progresses, more and more is learned about each character and his/her friends and family. I really liked Kira’s character because she was strong and left no stone unturned. She knows the police will not do all the footwork she will so she goes about digging and interviewing people almost to the point of harassment. She won’t stop until her daughter is found.

The Vanishing Hour is fast-paced and exciting. Readers will not be able to put it down. Get ready for a fantastic twisted ending!
